Since 2020, Chris has been an invited and returning Judge of the Walsh Family Law Negotiation Competition, run by the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC).

Chris has also taught Alternative Dispute Resolution at the college level in the program for paralegals.

For several years, Chris led the Ottawa Family Law Study Group.
